Up until a few years ago the residents paid their rents direct to the Council but were always owing varying amounts. Basildon Council pulled a good stroke though, they employed one of the travellers as a part time rent collector and now the rents are always upto date. About 5 yrs ago my wife went to a management meeting in a 4 star hotel and when she arrived was asked to come back 2 hours later as the hotel staff were still cleaning up after the wedding the day before. Gypsy wedding and apparent stuff was smashed all over and used condoms were found in the garden and conservatory as well as human **** (crap) behind the bar and in the indoor pool...... Nice !!!
