Marto303 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Hi Guy's After a long search I have now upgraded to a Brian James Shuttle so the twin wheel trailer I bought from GlenH earlier this year is no longer needed. It's a great little trailer, just right for a Westy and tows beautifully. Details here: http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic/101695-twin-axle-trailer/ Since I bought it I have replaced all 4 ( inner and outer ) wheel bearings, serviced the brakes and hitch. I bought a new spare wheel and tyre and replaced both rear stay's, these are all included in the sale. I also fitted a brand new 3000lb 12V Winchmax winch with remote control and synthetic rope, See here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WINCH-12V-ATV-BOAT-TRAILER-3000-lb-WINCHMAX-BRAND-SYNTHETIC-ROPE-MODEL-/130764788580?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Other_Vehicle_Parts_Accessories_ET&hash=item1e72305364 Winch is as new and fitted ready to use ( connect to battery via Anderson Socket ), this can be included in the sale at extra cost or removed if not required. Price for WSCC members before it goes on ebay Trailer only £650 Trailer with Winch £800 If anyone's interested PM me or 07843 699463 Martin Edit: I forgot to say the trailer is in Milton Keynes MK1 1RB SOLD SOLD SOLD SOLD
Tim Reid Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I have just run out to the garage but its only 2130 in the doorway so I will spend the day tomorrow pushing the walls apart. Can you confirm the original sizes are accurate?
Marto303 Posted August 13, 2013 Author Posted August 13, 2013 Tim Yes I can confirm those dimensions are correct, 2260mm across the wheel arches. Martin
Tim Reid Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Thanks for checking. Good luck with the sale, I am sure someone with a wider garage than me will be very happy.
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 It's a corker of a price with or without winch, surely can't hang around long!
alexander72 Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Tim, given the dimensions it would fit in on the diagonal..... I'll get me coat.....
Tim Reid Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Alexander, the idea had crossed my mind! I was also thinking about building a ramp to store the trailer on top of the garage. Then I sobered up!
Onliest Smeg David Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Dam! Could you keep it till next year so I can buy it 0 % finance?
