still don't know what causing it but number 3 mains oil starvation i think this is what happened last year. but I carried on and destroyed the conrod.

caught this in time crank polished up ok, no other signs of damage all other bearing are mint.  did find rear bearing had less clearance this time,[ with new bearing] and spent most the day trying to sort that problem out. must of had the crank in and out about 40 times.

almost gave up.

how did everyone get on today and yesterday

Mira was over by about 1445hrs

Kev Jones walloped the cones and took off rear wing and silencer

Steve hit tyres just before finish and bent wishbone, damaged cycle wing and rear wing. Thanks to Keith Adams and Barry we gor spare part and fixed for Sunday

Barry got 102, I was fastest Westfield but did not beat target

Hethel

From memory Gary was fastest Westfield and 2nd O/A

Barry got 102 I think, I beat target and was 4th fastest O/A, John beat target .... great circuit but takes some learning

They may be changing layout for next year so we may not have target times!

That Helix does seem to give a good pressure. Just keep the revs below 10,000 this time and you'll be fine. Good luck.
