Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Don't sell the Busa FBB, you would regret it Anyone any views on a Cayman ? It's supposed to be a really nice handling car. Quote
fatbaldbloke Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 Don't sell the Busa FBB, you would regret it I think I've just realised that. After tonight my thoughts are there's nothing I can afford that will be as involving, so it stays. I had to go through the process though. I need something to tinker with so I think it will be an old classic wreck to restore next. A build thread, of course..... Quote
XTR2Turbo Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I think classics are the future ... no tax and cheap insurance ;-) Quote
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I think classics are the future ... no tax and cheap insurance ;-) You could be right David, certainly they seem to go up rather than down in value if you buy the right ones. I keep looking at E Types, but they are getting to be very serious money these days , but Midget's, MGB & TR6 are much more reasonable. Quote
XTR2Turbo Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I think e types already in a bit of a bubble .... Quote
fatbaldbloke Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 I quite fancy building a go-faster Sunbeam Stiletto, properly engineered, the way they should have been built Quote
M444TTB Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I'd quite like a classic. BMW 2002Tii would be nice. 2002Turbo and 3.0CSLs are sadly way out of my league Quote
CL290005 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Ian Sunbeam stiletto that would make a great build, that engine is a peach and can be made to sing. Looking forward to the build Chris Quote
