Rory's Dad
Well you know your typical Westy - GRP bodywork, Zetec engine, windscreen, vinyl dash, sports seats, etc. Well of course you do. But now for something different. Subject to it being in one piece and it's not raining Terry Everall will bring his Class G sprint car along to the next meeting. It has some carbon and some GRP bodywork, a 1000cc motorbike engine, some other bits and pieces and that's about it. Terry will be on hand to give us some more technical information and tell us how it goes So make a date in your diaries, Tuesday 6 August from 7:30pm at the Fox and Grapes. Rory's Dad
Well, it was good to see Cleowuss back in his Westy along with another 9 others including a couple of new members and one or two potential ones too. So an excellent and lively meeting with Terry Everall's Class G racer taking pride of place. It has a 2008 Honda CBR 1000RR producing 184bhp courtesy of A B Performance at the rear wheels. The key to getting this car to fly down the track is the weight or rather the lack it - it's just 405kgs and the results speak for themselves. One class win, eight more wins with class records, one being the fastest Westfield, another being the 4th fastest o/a, and one being the FTD. It all speaks for itself - well done Terry and thanks for bringing your Westy along - we all enjoyed seeing, touching and understanding what Speed Series competitors get up to. Terry is not the only Yorkshire competitor and I'll try and get another one along to the next meeting. Rory's Dad
