This was to be my project car for next seasons speed series but plans change. (i bought another ready to sprint) It is a 1999 SEW ( fixed rear arches ) which was originally built with a 1600 CVH in it. Over the last few years it was converted to a 2.0L BlackTop Zetec with ZX7 bike carbs and a Megajolt ecu. It runs very nicely and has proved to be perfectly reliable, I must have done 1500 miles or so since I bought it in January ( not sure about the mileage as the odometer doesn't work ) but to be sure I had it checked on a dyno, fuelling all good and a respectable 155bhp with print out, oh had it weighed to 620 kilos. So overall she's in pretty reasonable condition as follows: 2.0L Zetec blacktop with new cam belt and over cooling sorted, ZX7 bike carbs on a danst engineering manifold with Pipercross backplate & filter. Could do with a better serpentine belt adjuster and the exhaust manifold is the original CVH item with a Zetec faceplate welded to it, not pretty but works fine. Megajolt ECU in conjunction with Ford EDDIS unit. Type 9 5 speed gearbox ( new clutch fitted with zetec conversion ) Live rear axle with escort rear drums ( new drums & shoes ) Std front wish bones & uprights, M16 calipers with new discs & pads, Spax shocks all round 15" wheels ( look similar to pro race 1.2 ) with new 195/50/15 budget road tyres Comfy seats & Willans harnesses, carpets, wet weather gear and a heater ( not plumbed in ) and std red body work ( a little faded here and there ) I have the spare wheel carrier, a brand new spare wheel and a huge build file of docs right from original order for kit from Westfield.So all in all a reliable, cheap first westy ready to go with MOT till May 14 and tax till October 13 £5000 no offers no px's Car is in Milton Keynes ( MK7 7DB ) call or email 07843 699463 / mhautoservices@aol.com If it doesn't sell I may consider breaking it so any interest parts please pm me, we'll see how we go Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
