Anyone seen my number plate?

bl**** frustrating...

Long story short: before taking the car in for it's MOT today decided to run it along the dual carriageway so that it would be warm for the test.  Anyway, the plate came off somewhere between Rudheath and Sandiway and in spite of running back round I'm b*******ed if I can find it.

Bit of a long shot but if anyone local has eagle eyes and happens to spot it, could you do me a favour and pick it up for me?  :t-up:

(Local MOT place fixed me up with a replacement in record time, but a spare is always useful!)

Do you know I saw one this morning and nearly ran over it! No idea if it was yours but it was near the hartford hall

Turns out it was mine!  And still in serviceable condition to boot.

Looks like a pint for Jocker at next club meet!  :t-up:

Are you sure it's not the black and silver one on TechTalk?

That's been there a few days, but you never know.

Definitely not that one Normam.  MUCH more legal than that - completely in fact.  Was on the way to the MOT!  :)

Referring to the plethora of threads on the subject of sticky on ones .. ;)

Glad you got it back, Wile E. Coyote

Damn lucky that.

Agree with that! Thought it was a bit of a joke, but turns out it was found!

It was indeed!

I'm astonished that posting got a result.  I'd prepared myself for endless pisstaking... but I suspect that will follow in due course.

The power of the internet.

Maybe you should have a search on attaching number plates to a car first though  :p  :p

What are the views on sticky ones? What's the legal position? And where can I get one?

You're having a laugh aren't you, mate?? Do a search and you'll get knocked over with the hits!

In short - yes, no and, it depends!
