stephenh Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 Hi David, that is what I thought, but I'm struggling to find the "perfect" solution. the ideal tank without a proper swirl pot would be cylindrical and with a conical bottom IYSWIM! But I dont see that anywhere. I think the factory tank is like that, but Russ tells me they have no mounting brackets in stock so 3 weeks plus waiting time. I'm still minded to go for the technical solution; ie small tank, swirl pot and 2 pumps.
RobC Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Or you could get one made specifically over winter. http://www.ahfabrications.com/ can do that, I've spoken to them before about such things Going down the tank, swirl pot and many pump route may well cause you problems fitting in such a tight area and cost and weigh much much more.
Terry Everall Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 If you get the correct small, baffled tank which is foam filled and narrower at the bottom you will not need a swirlpot or extra pump
