Shelsley Walsh

Just got the Shelsley Walsh entry and it has on the form a £10 Trade Sponsor Fee payable if an MSA Entrants Licence not held. As an entrant/driver (like most of us) I don't have one.

Do we think this is payable? - knowing Shelsley it probably is!

my little bambino ,an entrants licence is what your sponsor should have thats if you have a sponsor ,if you look back at last years entry for mmmmmmm lets say shelsley it will have in the final regs for instance no 43 john palmer ,entrant ,aldon automotive ,thats his sponsor ,so if your not addvertising a trade sponsor on the the side of your car then dont worry   me thinks thats how it works

I sponsor me      and now have stickers to prove it              The £10 extra is if you want your sponsors name in the programme    

Just get yourself some extremely bright coloured graphics that'll burn your retina              

Most of us carry SS sponsors decals as do many others - don't worry about it

Whats this? Shelsley entry list full already?  

Trade sponsor fee - this is the MAC's licence to print money I think...Kev, its just to get a sponsors name in the programme without having to fork out £120 as Aldon Automotive do per year for Mr Puma Palmer to have their name listed in all the entry lists at every event ie - dont worry yourself about it and dont pay it.

MIRA regs were in the same envelope. we had a letter about a week ago asking what rounds we were doing that are run by the midland lot and one was mira

I search enough...........besides, it looks like I need to go search the local paper recycling depot, 'cos I binned the Shelsley entry without a second look.....

Team Blatters wouldn't like Shelsley anyway - as if anyone could enjoy driving up such a steep twisty hill            

Anyone else booked in for camping the night before - only three quarts of an hour away from Team Stanton HQ - but I'll have me mobile tent       on site

I'm still sulking after the snotty letter I got off them last year. However, if the same club is running MIRA, I may have to ammend my principles........

Same as last year, entered for both days at Shelsley as I'm doing the HSA round as well      

but the budget's a bit lower this year due to current unemployment so I'll be camping (on orders from the missus   )

Erm - think I am missing something here.

Faxed the Shelsley regs off - with payment by card - on Thursday.  BUT - definately no regs for MIRA in the envelope.

Guess I will have to ring that awfully nice fellow at the MAC - Mr Roger Thomas - on 01886 812211 to request the regs for MIRA.  He is such a nice chap - and seems to like us Westfield fellows immensly.  I am not going to be the one that tells him that a Westfield does not necessarily have anything to do with Bugatti or Aston Martin - as I don't want to shatter his illusion of what a well healed bunch of nice chaps we all are.  Just the sort of people who should get to run up jolly old Shelsley.  Pip pip for now old boys.
