Kev Bamber Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 Does anyone know the whereabouts of the club cornerweight gauge? Quote
Mark Stanton Posted March 10, 2003 Posted March 10, 2003 Kevin The club has several sets of corner weights and camber gauges - the nearest one to you would have been Lancs - except that someone failed to return them to the AO a few years back and their whereabouts are now unknown. N.Staffs/Cheshire or Yorks are probably next nearest sets Quote
DickieB Posted March 11, 2003 Posted March 11, 2003 Any sets down south? Now that I've added my 60 Kg of ballast, I suppose I ought to check whether I've put it in the right place or not!!!! Quote
Mark Stanton Posted March 11, 2003 Posted March 11, 2003 Yep - The Essex chaps have a full set along with a club set of optical tracking gauges Quote
neilwillis Posted March 11, 2003 Posted March 11, 2003 Any chance of a go with the Black Country camber gauge. Is there an optical tracking tool too? Quote
Mark Stanton Posted March 11, 2003 Posted March 11, 2003 The Black Country weight and camber gauges are with Wild Will at the moment But it won't be any good to ya until your engine is in and car is built The WSCC has only one optical gauge set cos they am fragile and expensive - just as easy to get something near and get it set up properly on a true level surface They fiddly to use - o.k for a quick check though.
