New Season Ahead

Well its only a couple of weeks away now and  everybody is gettin' excited. I can't wait for my 1st round at Croft. Especially the night before....been able to sit in my tent and freeze my nuts off in the cold chill of a Darlington frosty crisp evening. And later on in the year the wonderful horizontal wind and rain that drifts merrily across the West Yorkshire country side at 100mph, easing its way over the majestic piles of virgin sheep ****e of good old Scammonden Dam..  Can't wait         .

Altho' I'm not competing @ 3 Slappers I will be there with my Camera taking a few snaps of the Yorkshire boys doin' their stuff.

On a more thoughtful note:Just remember when your sat on the start line waiting to do 'yow thing', give a thought for dear old Alan Parkinson who loved the Speed Series so much...... he will be there in 'spirit' looking over all of us.

I must admit Mark, it will be on my list 4 next year.I'm gonna do a budget shuffling excerise as all the major expense on my car has been completed now,but in the meantime I'm gonna 'ruff' it with the peasants this season    

Altho' camping dosn't bother me , I really fancy going aboard and taking the Westfield with me and having a good tour thro' Europe (with out the Germans of course ) and been able to stop when & where I want, then at least I can strap,chain or whatever the Westfield to the mobile tent,plus the added benefit of been able to take a change of clothes!!
