Rab (bombero) Reid Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Thanks for that. I decided to call Westfield direct as I wasn't sure but all good now! Quote
Wile E. Coyote Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Dear All, we understand certain people have been receiving emails about a further questionnaire. This is due to miss-communication within our group. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and assure everyone this information is highly confidential and will only used for customer research. To confirm that we are genuine, please find attached a link to the partnership we have with Westfield. http://www.bcu.ac.uk/tee/edms/press-releases/university-supports-demand-for-worlds-first-zero-emission-sports-car. Without wanting to be a killjoy, are you sure you're asking the right questions? They're certainly not the ones that I'd be asking if I wanted to understand the market for an electric track car - indeed, none of the questions asked/answers I've given would help determine my likely attitudes towards or (more importantly) propensity to buy an electric track car. JOCKER Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 As above plus you need to have some quantitive questions in your survey. Why don't you use something like surveymonkey or similair which is an online survey which is easier to fill in for the user and in return you'll have much better date to analyse Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 A surveymonkey link was added eventually, but being kind, the less said about the content linked to the better. Quote

Everyone thinks that they can write a survey, and very few Universities seem to include teaching time to cover this area of research. Indeed, there's another forum I frequent where marketing students appear on a very regular basis and make some very elementary mistakes. It sounds like an interesting project though, so I hope they get it sorted. Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 Not sure how many students are involved, but sounded like a sit down round the table with the relevant lecturer(s) and set out a plan for the information to be gathered and properly structure an appropriate questionnaire was needed. (And maybe proof read it before going live ) Quote
