When was the last time you bought a sport car?

June 2010

What model was it?

Westfield SeiW 1800 (Supersport ??? )

Where did you purchase it?

PistonHeads or AutoTrader websites, it was on both.

When you purchased the car, what other sport cars did you consider?

S2000, which I bought, after three weeks sold to buy the Westfield.

Lotus Elise

Ariel Atom

BEC variants of westfield's.

How did you decide this was the car to purchase?

Previous owner's house, other vehicles, garage, attention to detail played a huge part. Before that stage I owned a Robin Hood, which I enjoyed, then got a S2000, which I didn't like. So knew I'd want a seven variant. I test drove caterham's at their show room's (midlands and south), test drove westfield's and decided that a zetec Westfield was best for what I wanted/could afford and reliability.

Do you have a collection of cars? If so what models? (road car, racing car and hybrid)

No, but only due to space and job means I have had 15 addresses in 12 years, many without a garage or room for more than one car. I have owned several sports cars in the past I would've kept if I had room.

Are any of your sports cars second hand or third hand?

The Westfield was third hand, most others are fourth or more. I have only had a Alfa 156 GTA brand new.

How often do you drive a sports car?

Pre moving to Birmingham, everyday. From 2009 - December 2012 I was driving 500 miles plus a week, year round, June 2010 - December 2012 it was all in the Westfield (While not in the Westfield factory being repaired). Since getting driven into while stationary a couple of times, injuries from getting run over on a pavement and witnessing many horrible examples of driving I have stopped driving the Westfield until I move out of Birmingham. When I shall return to using it as much as I can.

Marital status?

Married

How many children under the age of 18 do you have living in your household?

None

What is your occupation?

Nurse in British Army

Do you go to track events, if so what track events are they?

Done track days in the past at several tracks. Due to injuries (not track day related) now stopped.

I've just had another PM from the OP.

It has a link to a questionnaire but is actually a link to itself.

It's also the third bite at the cherry.

I'm not answering anymore questions. If the university that is supposed to be conducting this survey with Westfield can't get it's survey right first time what chance do they have getting the results analyzed.

Hi, answered via your PM request, although some different questions..?

Posted

Without wanting to sound like too much of an old git . After clicking on the earlier link and finding a load of randomly thrown together and frequently miss-spelled words with tick boxes next to them. I didn't bother answering

It didn't give me an awful lot of faith in how the data would be analysed and processed.

I wondered if it was genuine and decided it probably was and created by a student. Now I'm not too sure. Do we know who's behind it and has anyone confirmed it with Westfield?

Posted

Dear All, we understand certain people have been receiving emails about a further questionnaire. This is due to miss-communication within our group. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and assure everyone this information is highly confidential and will only used for customer research. To confirm that we are genuine, please find attached a link to the partnership we have with Westfield. http://www.bcu.ac.uk/tee/edms/press-releases/university-supports-demand-for-worlds-first-zero-emission-sports-car.

Thank you. You'll find plenty of enthusiastic types here, with many varied opinions and lots of experiences to draw on!

It might be worth stepping back a moment though, and reformulating the questionnaire, perhaps with a little more focus?
