stormin norman Posted March 2, 2003 Posted March 2, 2003 i went to midddlewich in cheshire today to pick up some bits for my new westfield that i picked up from the factory last week i live in glasgow so it was a rather long drive but boy was it worth it ,the chap who i went to see was building a westfield sei with a tvr speed six engine in it i have never seen anything like it ,he said it would be somewhere in the region of 420BHP with 380 ftlb's of torque the engine was in the chassis and was running but the bodywork was on his driveway i would have loved to here it running but it was way to early when i arrived ,he said that it should be rather quick who's he kidding ,it made me think twice about my xflow ,still i can dream cant i Quote
Fat Albert Posted March 2, 2003 Posted March 2, 2003 Sounds interesting In 1974 I had the use of a Mclaren M18, it had about 400bhp from the 5 litre V8, weighed about 500kg (iron block) and ran on 20 inch slicks (at the rear). I remember it as being virtually undrivable at Brands, on wets in the wet. Will some kind person please arrange to video this guy when he drives it in the rain for the first time Quote
