Rory's Dad Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 I understand that the teams that had punctures had been fitting the rears the wrong way round. Pirelli should put arrows on them like on my Toyos >>>> Rory's Dad Quote
Ian Podmore Posted July 3, 2013 Posted July 3, 2013 Pirelli have also said the teams are using too low a pressure, and too much camber...... So the teams are not supposed to optimise the car set up any more then??? New tyres for German GP, back with last years Kevlar belt instead of the steel from this year but with 2013 rubber. Very likely to have an effect on results I would think. I'm not a great follower of F1, but this year has been pretty dire with respect to the influence of the tyres. Having the fastest cars on qualifying flounder in the race is not GP racing in my opinion. It doesn't make it more exciting, it means you watch the start and a few laps, then you may as well go and do something else until the final 3 laps as the bit in the middle ends up being a lottery rather than racing so often.
