quiet this morning.

I'm up and about. Today's task, which I have accepted, is to get the cement mixer up, get the hose round, bring 3 or 4 barrows of sand from the other end of the long barn,go to the tip for 1000 and get 4 bags of cement on the way back.

Then, lay concrete sections and lay terracotta tiles on them. I will be doing the whole of the gravelled area outside but for now the area from the car park to the front door will be enough. The rest of the week will be spent finally finishing the work in the house.

Right, no time to chat, things to do and people to see.

Oh, by the way, Phil, I'm going to a different tip today, and this one hasn't got a nice looking attendant.

Packed up at 1630 - too hot!

Got 3/4 done so will finish in the morning. Got a few tiles to cut but not many.

Then get stuck into finishing the house, only 2 years late!
