Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted June 29, 2013 Posted June 29, 2013 You have to respect Lorenzo for his grit. He must have been in agony even doped up on painkillers. I was surprised that the medical director allowed him to race, though. Quote

Norman Verona Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Being serious the fittest athletes must be the rowers followed by the tennis players. If you saw Novak Djoković destroy the Frenchman yesterday you may have noticed that Novak was as fresh as a daisy at the end and the Frenchman was visibly tired. Quote

A few years back it was tour de France cyclists followed by motocross riders. Quote
Fat Thor Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 A few years back it was tour de France cyclists followed by motocross riders. But they were all doped up. They reckon F1 drivers are fitter than footballers, I think rugby players are a world apart that they were 10-15 years ago, all seem like gladiators now. Quote

Steve_Farrimond Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Id say moto gp riders are some of the bravest in the world. Massive cheer in my house when Rossi stood back at the top. Not very happy when Maquez ballsed up in front of Crutchlow causing him to swerve. Crutchlow Should have been 2nd. Quote
