Nesting Birds....in weird places...

Living on the edge of a wood I've got all sorts in residence in my garden.

Currently there is a family of rabbits living under my shed, they excavated so much earth out from under it that the front corners dropped and I had to refix the lock in a different position. They're so tame they don't even bother to get up and move whenever I'm walking about.

i have a small doormouse that lives by my back door. every now and again I'll step out and he will be there on the path looking up at me with an expression on his face as if to say "what?"

In the trees behind mine lives a monkjack dear that comes to visit me every so often to eat my shrubs.

The visiting fox just uses my garden as a through fare as it's an easier route to get at my neighbours chickens. I find them occasionally laying headless on the lawn.

I get badgers too, and startled one recently as I went up the garden in the dark with a torch and turned round to see one only a metre away staring back at me,

Finally there's the birds, mainly robins and tits nesting but there's also a couple of woodpeckers either in my trees or the neighbours.
