Looking for info - Q753 RFM -Seight

Hi.

I've been the proud owner of Q753 RFM since last August, and loving it!

I don't have much in terms of history, and in particular, what's in the engine.

I know it's a 3.5L Rover V8, with Edelbrock manifold / Holley 390 4 barrel. I was given an article from KSC International (date unknown) that I was told was about my car, but I have noticed that the registration number in the article is different (Q735, not Q753). Maybe someone made a mistake with the original plate?

The article states that the engine was built by John Noble Engines in Chesterfield - sent them an email a while ago, but no reply.

I was told when I bought the car that the heads had been worked on, and I think a Crane cam was mentioned.

Does anyone know anything about the history of my car?

??? I'll give up on Mr Noble and his grocer friend then!

Pictures attached as suggested - hope they help. Well, they would be if I could find a way to add pictures from my computer - help!

You know what's not funny? Being dragged through the libel courts where the only people who make money are the lawyers - hence the reason Norman's post has been hidden by the moderation team, humorous or not.

No need to apologise James, all understood, but post had to go to protect club and member - the dull but necessary part of the job.

Looks very very similar to a car I saw in Herefordshire a few years ago when I bought a boot box off the owner may be a different car but I'm sure you won't see many v8's in that colour .

Edited to add at the bottom of the link page Herefordshire mentioned ..... was in Whitchurch if I remember correctly , not far away from me but can't remember the guys name though ...

Thanks Smokey - that's my car :t-up:

Looks like it has Crane cam and stage 2 heads as I was told, and the work that Andy mentions re radiator and fuel tank ties it back to my car.

Thanks again.

Al
