dombanks Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 questions in the title, i was looking for some longer wheel bolts for the bmw. Quote
WINGNUT Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 From a quick check on the net, normal bolts dependant on wheel have a taper where as wobble bolts have in affect a tapered washer with a slightly bigger centre hole, enabling the bolt to move/wobble inside the washer! Basically it enables you to fit wheels with a slightly different wheel bolt pattern to the standard ones! Cant see it being too beneficial really sounds a bit scary to me to be honest id stick with standard wheel bolts or alloy wheel bolts! check this Quote

User0083 Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I've had bolts with washers on them before, currently using them! Didn't realise they were called wobble bolts and had so many benefits. I've just found that when tightening them they feel that they've pinned the wheel in better and less damage to the wheel holes. Quote
