Scottish Area - Air Show (27th July)

Hi ALL

The air show at East Fortune is arguably considered the smaller cousin to the one at RAF Leuchars but nowhere else can you get closer to the action than at East Fortune! This year, the date is set for Saturday 27th July:

This is more of a Club social event than a proper run out (apart from your chosen routes there and home!) but we're such a social bunch I thought we could give this a go.

I'm speaking to one of the organisers about the potential of parking for us within the perimeter fence or an 'exclusive' section within the main car park for Westfields Only.

I know it's still a couple of months away yet but I'm needing to feed back potential numbers, so let's be having you .. all welcome! I'm also working on a discounted entrance fee - watch this space!

Yeah, Saturdays are a bit pants for most folk, hence the early 'heads up' to get your excuses in! Glad you'll be able to make it.

Yesterday was one of the best run outs in a while!

A friendly reminder to all, that although this is technically not a run out, it is an event that members might like to visit. I'm not going to follow up speaking to the organisers about preferntial parking or entrance fees as we couldn't guarantee the numbers, but a nice day oot nonetheless!

As it's not a blat but an invitation for a social gathering, I kinda just left it up to the guys to decide if they were going, considering that many peeps will be away on their hols, etc. Nothing has been officially arranged with the museum so it's just a case of come along if you fancy. I've not heard from any of the other guys so unsure who's going...

@Bob, it looks like only yourself and Alastair are coming - I've not heard anything from the other 'regulars'. I'll be there as I live local. My westy will probably be on the Scottish Kit Car Centre stand, along with Andy's MK Indy and a cusotmer's MEV, and possibly your friend's MK chassis, Bob!

Sorry - cant make this one, as clashes with Wickerman festival down this way, and would get into serious bother if I didn't go as other half is performing there!

I assumed wrongly that we had some special parking concession. Considering where the car park is in relation to the show I cannot do this (too far). As they say in dragons den I am out.
