Westfield SE 1.8 Zetec - SOLD

Recommended Posts

The time has come to sell my Westfield.

I’ve had it for 15 years, and in that time I have done most things with it; shows, Sunday blasts, track days, sprints and been to Germany for the Se7en IG meeting.

After much soul searching as to why it wasn't being used anything like as much as it should anymore, I have concluded I have become a little bored of it, so the time has come to let it go and move on to something new.

This is a properly developed car, which has had a lot of attention and development over the years. As you will have noted from above, this car has been on circuit, I’m not going to lie and say it hasn't, because after all, that is half the point of a toy such as this, what I can say, is it has never been crashed.

It comes with a massive history file containing:
1) Original invoice for kit
2) Original sales brochure
3) Original parts catalogue
4) Original build manual
5) Original build pictures
6) All the MOT's from day 1
7) A massive collection of receipts
8) Pictures of conversion from x/flow to Zetec
9) All the instructions & software for ECU, throttle bodies, Digidash, etc

Im guessing you mean 150ps engine power, as opposed to 105ps whats written. Might want to change that- might put someone off who doesn't know the normal power of the engine-

Lovely looking car Martin - this is a great spec for a Westfield.

Thanks mate.

To clarify, the 105PS is the base spec Zetec engine, the 2.0 cams convert it to 130PS spec, the it has the TB's giving 155PS.

im aware of that- but others might not be- For an outsider it reads that your setup is 105ps. If your not bothered that's fine, just trying to help out on the advert.

  • 2 weeks later...

This car personally ticks so many boxes for me in my search for my first Westfield, everything else I've currently seen available within my price range I would have to carry out some form of modification to get it just how I wanted it.  Then I keep coming back to this one which appears to be the perfect spec;  downside unfortunately at this moment in time I'm not ready to buy just yet due to having to sell our MRK1 Audi TT roadster first, wife's orders!!

I knew I shouldn't have started looking yet!!

I'll certainly be getting in touch if still available but in the meantime have a bump to the top on me.

I've stared doing the same!

Found some lovely looking Elise's...

In fact that gives me an idea.

#wanders off to modify advert

Martin, one of the many mistakes I've made in my life is to sell my 2002 Elise (K series 160 bhp).

3 Wife's orders!!

4 I knew I shouldn't have started looking yet!!

1, So it should. If it was about when I was looking for mine... Looks like a great car.

2, Whatever you get you'll modify it... Then modify it again... Change your mind and modify it some more!

3, Slippery slope.

4, More you look, more you see, more you learn and the better a decision you'll make.

Slightly off topic, I wanted yellow to be seen... They're not. Red is seen, as proved by Ferrari!

Shouldn't be a problem, this isn't Ebay. Is it?
