XTR2Turbo Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Advert here. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/westfield/all-models/2008-supercharged-westfield-400bhp/1378717 An incredibly quick machine but completely reliable and unfussed. No problems at all in traffic or overheating that you can get with monster turbocharged cars. Went to Le Mans and back in it 2011. My brother's car. He is also a member here but having trouble logging on at the moment. David 1

S2T Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Interesting with all that power it seems to have standard width wheels and consequently tyres. I wonder how skittish it will be going around corners I seem to recall one of the Cosworth Westies on the track was oversteering every corner

The beauty of the supercharger is that the power and torque are so progressive. It's almost just like driving a large capacity engine without the weight.
stickymint Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Looking at the pictures it has Tillet seats - I can't quite see are these seats without the sides taken off? It's just that I am thinking of fitting a pair.
XTR2Turbo Posted May 19, 2013 Author Posted May 19, 2013 They are tillett B5s They have the edges on but need to be trimmed ever so slightly. This car has a Type 9 tunnel. MT75 may be a but too wide on passenger side. B5's are best if you are a 'well built' driver otherwise B6's are fine. 1

XTR2Turbo Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Bump - Still for sale Here is the SantaPod timing slip. 11.4 seconds set on 205 section Toyo T1R tyres. I think he was changing gear over the line hence the slightly lower terminal http://www.seight.com/perf.html Look here to put that in perspective !
