Norman Verona Posted May 17, 2013 Author Posted May 17, 2013 Mark, sorry I missed your post. We are at the end of a very long line. The feed comes from a tower about 10 kms away and feeds a whole village begfore the dozen or so houses between us and the village. I've never seen more than 3 bar on the boiler gauge. But that feed is regulated in the house. The take off for the gites are before that reducing valve. However there's one at the meter and it's adjusted down to about 2.5 bar. I might turn that one down if I can't sort this with another blow off valve. It says 7 bar on the body. If the taps are running, it's OK. Turn the tap off and after a minute or so the blow valve starts to drip then gats faster and end up running. If I turn the tap on I get a violent spurt which then settles down to a steady run. If anything theer isn't enough pressure as it's a bit slow after the pressure build up has been reduced. Anyway, it'll have to wait a few weeks. Many thanks. Quote
