Amusing mistake

Just wired in my new sequential shift lights.........which only works with the handbrake on! Whoops!

Im struggling to find a switched live, The light switch is permanent and using the fuel pump wiring leaves me too much ''getting stranded" potential. Any ideas?

I'd run it off ignition live, from ignition barrel.

But is a funny mis hap!
