Top of the hill (at the cross roads) you drive down to get into the park. I think we're staying in the farm opposite too. I hope to be safely in the bar for a nightcap by 21.00............

Leaving wotk at 16.00 hopefully, so 21.00 curfew for food should be do-able. I'm gonna fill up before I get to the hill this year too...............

Course I'll be there.

Will I get to play against a Watbox in Class A and see what fun the Class B boys have been having all season? Or will the Duck be double driving?

Will be in the pub in Upottery. The pub you lot are all talking about will need to be booked - it was really busy last year and they couldn't fit us in.

Just got a new MoT ticket specially... I'll be there with my hairdryer powered car seeing if it has enough to get up the hill.

Maybe see you in the Upottery Pub....

PS: you could have stayed last week - House is a mess but we could have found you somewhere to doss down... Could of helped me put the finishing touches on the hairdryer motor....

What you done now Rob  ???  :(  :(  :(

Too much power for drive shafts ??

You need some stronger uprated ones - are you on the Sierra diff / live axle or Westfield casing with Escort diff like mine ??

Drop me a line  ;)

The full list of dammage is

1 wheel center - scrap

4 studs - scrap

1 Hub needs throwing.

1 diffuser fixable

Thats from the track day.

When I took the shaft out to rebuild it the splines on the diff end had twisted like they had at Olivers Mount.

Its the alloy westfield diff and the uprated shafts.

I'm begining to think that there is to much weight over the back end.  A Lardy racing problem perhaps

Rob,

What's your start line procedure. I have the same set up with the uprated driveshafts and no twisting yet....

presumably the hub bits are from the loose wheel ?

Hi Mate

The hub bits are from the wheel.  I don't know which gave way first though.

My start line procedure is as crude as me.

Take it to about 4000 revs.

Let the clutch out and wait till the wheels stop spinning and I start to move.

I seriously hope that your not trying to sugest that my car control has any bearing on the thing breaking all the time.
