dombanks Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Pm our AO mark Redpath we used to go as the club. Quote
Mark Redpath - WSCC Membership Secretary Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Hi Paul We have supported the Pageant of Power from the start, but to be honest the last two years we have given it a miss, mainly due to really bad weather and a poor turnout. They started to charge us two years ago and this had a direct effect on numbers, as usual, couldn't get enough tickets when they were free but a different matter when they made us pay. so in the end was not worth setting the marquee up and all that was involved with that for two or three cars Would not rule out going again as the show is pretty good and they have added a lot of new attractions over the last few years Mark Quote
Paul Gibney - Lancashire AO Posted May 6, 2013 Author Posted May 6, 2013 ok cheers mark if anyone in your area wants to go let me know. i was there the last 2 years weather was shocking got drenched ..... Quote
stephenh Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Another drawback for many is that it clashes with the WSCC Club trackday and sprint meeting at Curborough these days. Quote
Paul Gibney - Lancashire AO Posted May 7, 2013 Author Posted May 7, 2013 was unaware of the track days are they sat and sun also ? Quote
stephenh Posted May 7, 2013 Posted May 7, 2013 Sprint School on the Sat. morn., followed by trackday in the afternoon on the Sat. Then Sprint on the Sunday, our round of the WSCC Speed Series. Quote
