wacomuk Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 How often do you need to sterilize fresh water tanks on motor homes? And the next question is what's the best way of doing it :-) Quote
jeff oakley Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 There are various products you can get but for all the water system on mine I use Hydrogen Peroxide diluted This cleanse all the nasties but does not leave any taste. Others recommend Bicarb of Soda. How often depends on several things but I do it anually at least and if I notice any change in quality do it again. Quote

Captain Colonial Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I would definitely NOT advise anyone to start Googling hydrogen peroxide unless you'd like to go on a terrorism watch list in a hurry... 2 Quote

Terry Everall Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I thought MIlton was a successful showjumping horse ridden by John Whitaker but no problem as if horse meat is good in food it may be good in water Quote
Garry Bunn - Derby & Notts Joint AO Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 'Milton' (16 February 1977 – 4 July 1999) - even if you wanted to eat horse meat this would be a bit off... Won over one million in prize money.... !! Quote
