s2rrr Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I am going to the Crucible tomorrow for one of the 1/4 final sessions and have just watched Ronnie O'Sullivan march onwards. He is on one of the tables tomorrow, now what are the chances of me seeing the legend or I am likely to get the couple of relatively unknowns. 50/50 fingers crossed I get the man himself. Been on my bucket list for ages and have seen a few good players but no one in his category. Wish me luck Bob Quote
AdamR Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Awesome, hope you get to see Ronnie! I've been to see one of the early sessions of the final for the last 2 years, but not going this time Get one of the radios - pretty pricey but really useful and a nice memento Enjoy! Quote
FILFAN Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 would love to go myself one day. good luck and enjoy yourself Quote
s2rrr Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Should I wear my 2011 Stoneleigh T shirt ? you may just spot me on TV if I do, bright orange with hopefully Ronnie and his sun glasses on to avoid the glare. Something sensible I guess. Bob Quote
s2rrr Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 Well it was 50/50 who I would see, and I managed to witness a masterclass in snooker by the legend Ronnie O'Sullivan destroying Stuart Bingham, he did claw a lucky one back before the session ended. A good day out. Will watch it on the TV now. Bob Quote
Norman Verona Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I watched. It got so predictable that I was losing interest. O'Sullivan is the best player in the world - when he's in this mood. Quote
s2rrr Posted April 30, 2013 Author Posted April 30, 2013 I felt very sorry for Bingham towards the end he just wasn't getting a look in, probably very boring viewing. He did break into a huge smile when he won the last frame though. Another bucket list item ticked off. Even made it onto the tele but no you will never find me. Bob Quote
Norman Verona Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 I did feel sorry for Bingham, but I think he's there because the players he's come up against have been very poor. Ronnie may well win this match in the next session. 13-1 is a distinct possibility. As long as Ronnie's mental attitude stays good. Football now. Could be a great game. Quote
