Captain Colonial Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 What have you been drinking / sniffing / snorting / smoking / injecting (delete as applicable) this morning to find these videos, MotCO? Quote
Man On The Clapham Omnibus Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 I have an old pal who lives in South Carolina (he hails from Montana orginally but cannot stand the winters!) and he sends me a blizzard of weird stuff; this included. Yanks, eh? Quote
pistonbroke 2 Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Reckon Id still be rubbish. Even with one of these I would spend hours searching for the ball in the rough. "Hate Golf" Is there a version for Lazy Ping Pong ? Quote
fatbaldbloke Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I need one now.... I'm off tomorrow to the Outer Hebrides to play golf and any help will be appreciated. (For those few who are passionate about the game and don't think I'm a complete lunatic, there is one of the most unique and historically significant courses in the world on South Uist, and that's where we're going... http://askernishgolfclub.com/ ) Quote
AidanPlace Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 FBB, that looks fantastic. I'm a bit of a sucker for a links course. Royal Portrush is booked for June Quote
bhouse Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 "It allows the non-golfer to play golf immediately" But if you're a non-golfer, surely that means you have very little interest in playing golf so why would you want to play Easy Golf (apologies for English spelling - I couldn't bring myself to spell it the Fluke way) Edit to add that according to their website, the stick that you hit the ball with costs $799. I can't see that appealing to the casual shopper: "What shall we do today?" "I know, let's blow 800 bucks on a stick with a gun in the end and go play golf!" Quote
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 FBB, great looking course, look forward to hearing if it matched up to expectations Golf is a wonderful walk in nice scenery ruined by a small white ball. Quote

fatbaldbloke Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Looks lovely FBB - how many shots will you be receiving when you play it? Well, my official handicap's 12, but if I can get round in about 20 over I'd be quite chuffed. We're also playing in the Askernish Open there in August, so this is by way of a recce. I'm not saying it's hard, but in 2008 there was only one round in the whole year where the net score was under par, and that was by Elliot Saltman who plays on the European tour! Quote
KugaWestie Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 So how was it FBB? I am off to Wentworth tomorrow to see how it should be done! Quote
