Literally bomb proof, and from my experience (i've had 3, as runarounds) nothing goes wrong with them, only bad point is they are prone to rust. I bought a P reg 3 years ago for £500 and use it daily on the dreaded school run without a hick up. Very cheap to insure too. Hope this helps.
