Hey All,

 

Don't really want to lose this one but Mum has said that one has to go, so Dad's it is!
Real fun car which will make a good quick track day / hillclimb car or be instantly competitive for the 750MC or similar. This was my first racecar which I did my first season in, in the Westfield Cup Championship.

(Unregistered, track only vehicle)
Purchased by first owner as a new kit (1999 - Factory Proof Available). It is a pre-cat model.
But Car was not built up until 2005/6 by Peter Dagleish for the Westfield Cup Championship.
Car came second in championship in 2007 with lots of lap records and wins.
Passed into current ownership in 2008 with racing in the Westfield championship (2yrs) and then light use in the 750MC since.
Having been involved in an incident in spring 2012 at Cadwell, the spec was upgraded to the following:

Full Competition Lightweight Live Axle Wide Chassis & Body (Rejigged etc 2012)
New Extra Wide Rear Wings, New Arches, Bonnet and Side Panels - 2012.
Wide Track Front Suspension, Wide Offset Wheels - 2012
Full Bolt-On Race Roll Cage (Made by Caged)
Westfield Race Seat with 2013 Sabelt Harness
Spare Passenger Seat with Out-of-Date (OK for Track Days) Harness.
Sparco Steering Wheel
Wide-Angle Longacre Mirror
Demon Tweeks Lap Timer

Front / Rear Lights + Rain Light
Transponder Fitted
M16 Calipers/Discs at Front
Recent Sierra Calipers & Fiesta Discs at Rear
Brake Proportioning Valve in Cockpit
Westfield Quick Rack
Adjustable Avo Shocks, New Pair on Rear with New Springs
Fully Plumbed Fire Extinguisher
Varley Red Top Lightweight Battery
3.77 Fostek English Diff
Fostek prepared 4 Speed Straight Cut 'Rocket' Box
Recent Helix Race Clutch

New Ford 2ltr Blacktop Zetec on Jenvey Throttle Bodies, Piper Fast Road Cams, ARP Bolts, Dry Sumped, Braided Hoses, M Tech ECU.
Run In & Dyno'd by Dennis Vessey @ 195bhp.
Revs to 7500rpm with no drop off in power.
Only one steady track day since fitting.

6" Techcraft Repackable Exhaust
High Pressure Fuel Pump, Lines, Rail, etc
Recent 40ltr Aluminium Tank
Silver/Black Minilite Fronts with 185 R888 GG Tyres
Silver/Black Minilite Rears with 205 R888 GG Tyres
Car Weighs in at 522kg with 30ltrs of Fuel on Board.

Some Spares available but not many, as we have my second Race Westy.
Always maintained regardless of cost, and has given us so much enjoyment!
Other sets of wheels/spares available.

Car is located in York and available to be viewed / drive a short distance!

the car was built sa university project that ws left in a corner of a workshop, I dont think it turned a wheel until Peter ran it for a couple of years in the BARC Westfield championship

Thanks James and of course David is correct about classes, I don't plan to sprint this year as we still have a lot of work to complete at home which I've promised will be done first :(

 My first proper run out in the new car will be at the Curborough Sprint School and trackday so that should give us all an indication of just how bad my driving really is :cry: then the same at Blyton and maybe another trackday or two before I start to prep it for next season.

Excellent news mate !! That looks a cracking car to get straight and get to know at the same time... you will have a great time at S-School - it really helps make it much less daunting... good on you buddy!  have fun
