I love hot buttered toast but haven't had any for months as I'm trying to lose some weight. Now, I know we all say, me included, that if you're overweight you can reduce weight yourself. However, I find it difficult to walk as I have half a cartlidge in one knee and arthritis in both. I have to eat little and often )which adds up to a lot) due to diabetes. Cooked on the hot plate of our Aga In a special holder made out of mesh shaped like a pair of table tennis bats but bigger, hinged at the top. (Actually a picture is more helpful).
