This is the newer 2.0L 115bhp model of the van, not the troublesome previous 1.9 model.

It has covered just under 70,500 miles (may increase slightly) and has tax until end of July 2013 and MOT until 19th June 2013 (no advisories on the last two).

The van drives beautifully, with no rattles, squeaks, clonks or whines, and returns 40mpg cruising at 70mph thanks to the 6 speed gearbox.

This is the factory-spec crew van, with twin sliding doors, windows and bulkhead - not a converted 'normal' van with a couple of old minibus seats bolted in the back!

It has a full service history (4 stamps) and recent work includes:

- May 2012, 64,324 miles: The van was taken in part ex by Perry's in Preston, who discovered it wasn't up to their high standards so performed a full service plus new front lower ball joints, clutch, rear door handle, wiper blades, clutch slave cylinder, gear cables and more. The internal trade invoice for this came to over £750 without VAT and labour (the prices are blacked out as the dealer didn't want me to see the cost - but you can still see it. The exact figure was £764 from memory).

- June 2012: My company (mountain bike shop) purchased the van and it has been in use since, with the only work required being a set of glow plugs which cost approx £320 all in and were fitted only a few weeks ago. This van uses them for cold start (less than 3 degrees) and due to the recent weather it was getting a bit slow to start. The plugs seem to have cured this.

- March 2013, 70,430 miles: Bigger van now required so unfortunately we have to let this one go!

Extra info:

- All tyres have good tread, (approx 4-5mm), always checked for correct pressures (55 front and 61 rear).

- Tow bar and 7 pin electrics fitted (max towing capacity 2000kg).

- Rear is partially ply lined and has a custom fitted 18mm ply split shelf. This can be removed / fitted in under a minute by one person and locks in place under it's own weight. This is really handy for carrying double the amount of smaller stuff and not 'wasting' the height of the van!

- The rear bench seat can be slid forward or completely removed, which allows a full 8x4 sheet to fit in the rear of the van. This makes it super practical and flexible. In fact, the gap left by removing the front seats is about 10" deep, meaning you can poke your feet through the bulkhead and sleep in the back if required (I have done this a few times and it's nice and snug!).

- Great for mountain bikes, where you can easily get 5 people / 5 bikes and kit in.

- Also perfect for track days and other motorsport events.

- Rear wipers have been removed and rear windows covered (very neatly - it's almost impossible to tell) with black vinyl to stop people peering in. I can return the van back to standard (re-fit the wipers and remove the vinyl) before sale if you wish.

- The TartyBikes graphics and vinyl and can also be removed easily if desired.

- Set of 150kg capacity roof bars also included with the sale.

- Both keys present, one is 'well used' but still functions perfectly.

- I took out a 2 year used vehicle warranty with the van (what it covers can be seen in one of the pictures) and the balance of this (lasts until June 2014) can be transferred to the new owner for £35 if you wish.

- There are a few dings and scrapes in the bodywork, I have pictured most of these. They don't show up on the 'overall' pictures but I like to be honest as there's nothing worse than turning up to view a vehicle that's nothing like you thought it was!

- The driver's armrest doesn't like to stay up, it never has since I got the van so it's not something that bothers me at all.

- Seat covers are fitted in the front but they are a little tatty, again never bothered me though. A new set is about £40 if I remember correctly.

- Priced realistically for a hassle-free sale. Have a look at what some others are trying to sell the 'proper' Crew Cab vans for...!

- If anyone would like more pics, info, or some measurements of the rear load space please don't hesitate to ask!

- I'll fill the tank (90L which gives up to 750 mile range) for a WSCC member :)

£5995 ono (no VAT) - if you want to make me an 'ono' please come and see it first! The van is located near Preston, Lancashire (PR5) and available for viewing any time.

Many thanks,

Adam
