Mrs C has it series linked and quite often wants to PM you to ask how real it really is.

Same as storage hunters, or whatever it's called, where they by abandoned storage lock ups.

 

All too real, I'm afraid.  Especially Lizard dangler Towing.  Edited down to fit the average attention span to be sure, but all too real.  But then again, nice and decent people don't end up on a weekly series, do they?  Only people you'd never want to be with.  Same with Jeremy Piles - why would anyone in their right mind go on a show that is guaranteed to tell you something you don't want to hear?

I was in a bar in Portland Oregon and there was a football (American) game on the TV. I couldn't follow it as there was ads every 3 or 4 minutes. The barman, who had spent time in Dublin, explained that it was due to the attention span of the average American viewer.

 

Wasn't a real problem, we all got drunk instead.

TBH, The more you find out about them, (the owner and his wife), the more surreal it gets! I actually have a suspicion the producers are toning down some parts!
