Pistol Pete Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Anybody else seen this and enjoying or should I keep my guilty pleasure to myself.... Quote
Young Pretender Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Yes I have it on series link. Glad bobby is back Quote
Captain Colonial Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I regret to say I have seen it, and it exceeded my recommended monthly allowance of both Stupid and Redneck within 25 minutes. I was cringing with embarrassment throughout. Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Watched a couple in the past but had to turn it off as the constant aruging between those two rednecks and their wives just irritates me crazy. Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I've only just found it but watched four episodes so far Quote
jeff oakley Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 I have had the misfortune to watch this. How any company can be so badly run is a surprise. If that is really how the repo system runs in the states there is a wonder they don't get shot and stabbed more. I still cannot work out if the woman is actually a man with her deep voice and her wide manly shoulders. Quote
Gordo Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Yep, I've found it. Keeps me amused, it's the way the company is run, but how stupid are lease holders Bring back the firework truck PMSL Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 The show is based around scripted and reenacted scenarios. The show is a spin-off of the truTV series All Worked Up, and follows Ron, Amy and their team ofrepossession agents as they reenact repossession situations in Lizard Lick, North Carolina. The show is known for the copious amount of fights and brawls that take place during the repossessions. Quote

I was cringing with embarrassment throughout. Mrs C has it series linked and quite often wants to PM you to ask how real it really is. Same as storage hunters, or whatever it's called, where they by abandoned storage lock ups. Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 The essence of it is sort of true - he was stabbed, etc. (just not there on camera; that's a reconstruction) BUT, keep in mind that these are events as recalled by the owner and his wife, these are then translated into scripts and planned "shoots" by the producers/directors according to their own agendas. So you're immediately two steps removed from reality before it's shot. I believe the business itself actually has ten working tow trucks. Quote
