The owner of the Anglia had his first event of the year at Mallory on the 17 th and posted the 19th fastest time out of 120 entrants. not bad for a 1300 driven by a 70 year old!! 

 

 

Blimey ! didn't know John Fitzpatrick was still racing ;)

I think I knew John Fitzpatrick in the early 60s. I was an apprentice at University Motors in Mayfair. he used to come into the workshop and I got friendly with him helping him out with some bits and pieces and ding little jobs on his Mini.
