At the moment the intension is to use the car on track as an ongoing project for my 2 sons, both passionate about motorsport. The 3 of us are. The youngest the spirited driver; the eldest resource investigater/modifications/maintenance; myself maintenance and driver. As we only picked the car up yeterday and such was the weather I don't have many pics, only some that we took when we initially went to view 'Brum'. As soon as I have worked out how to upload I'll get some up. Quote

The Pinto engine is getting on a bit now, but brings me back to when I had a 1985 1.6 Capri Laser. I owned from new for 11 years, replacing the valve stem seals as they had hardened and passing a bit of oil; replaced the clutch around 80k, other than the wear and tear items that was about it. It was a great car mint condition when I sold it. Probably been melted down now ;(, Fortunately my two sons are very much into their motor sport, so its great that we can share the passion and enjoyment together; father, son bonding and all that. Extremely excited about getting on the track. Not sure what mods we'll do first other than change the front wings for cycle ones and install harnesses. Then the mods will begin in earnest I suspect! I've paid my membership, so once I've been activated on the system, I'll should be able to post some pics I hope Quote
