I am 40 years old since last month... where do I go ? 30-40 or 40-50 given that I am 25 in my head...

If you are over 40 then you are between 40 and 50.

 

I think it is reasonable to assume that 30 to 40 means between 30 and 40 and at 40 years of age you are no longer between 30 and 40
