RICHARD+PHILIP Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 We have just recieved our Latest Blue Book and after a little scanning through it I have noticed that the wording for the Sprint & Hillclimb section has changed 2002 Blue Book Section L Page 177 It states that cat B Road Kit Replica cars must have a MSA PRODUCTION KIT CAR CERTIFICATE. The question therefore is what is it? and does it affect us? Happy Christmas to all Phil/Richard Quote
ian crocker Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 I doubt if these rules will apply. The Blue Book is usually overruled by regional regs. Also, if you look carefully the defintion of a 'kit car' has always been 'see production kit car' in the past and I think that required a certificate. I can't see it being enforced. If it is then many kits will be out of the class. You know the sort of thing, Westfields with a 1.6 Vauxhall engine etc Ian Quote
