2001 Factory built Westfield Megablade, Currently at 10500 miles in Traffic Orange (RAL2009) MOT due 14/08/2019 - previous 3 MOT’s passed with no advisories. Engine 1994 Honda CBR900RR-R 893cc engine 6 speed sequential transmission (new OEM clutch fitted 2017) Dynojetted carburettors. AB Performance composite airbox AB Performance billet sump & baffle plate Full stainless steel 4-2-1 exhaust manifold repackable 6” silencer. Rebuilt by AB Performance. Body Lightweight Competition Bodywork (sectioned to assist with maintenance, finished in Traffic Orange (RAL 2009) paint - bodywork is in very good condition for its age. K&N 303 oil filter replaced. 11/08/2017 - Engine removed. Replacement shift drum, forks, counter shaft and main shaft gears fitted to replace worn items. Clutch replaced with genuine Honda friction disks. New gaskets & seals fitted to all removed covers/cases. 3.7L Motorex 10W/40 semi synthetic 4T oil. K&N 303 oil filter replaced. Coolant replaced 4.0L Honda Type 2 coolant (blue). 05/10/2017- 4 x spark plugs replaced with NGK CR9EHIX-9 iridium plugs. New ignition leads fitted (7mm Tinned copper core Lucas Hypalon black 10/01/2018- Full Playskool Caged roll cage fitted. (Rear led lights fitted, 3M Di-NOC Carbon wrap fitted to rear light pods 17/01/2018 -Replaced Yuasa U1 battery CTEK convenience connector fitted 10/08/2018- Carburettors removed, stripped, cleaned and rebuilt. Since owning this vehicle I have covered approximately 2000 Miles in 3 Years. I have only ever driven it in dry weather. When not in use it is stored in a well ventilated garage under a breathable cover hence the chassis is in very good condition for its age with very little corrosion. The bodywork is painted in RAL 2009 Traffic Orange and is overall In very good condition. There are some minor stress cracks in the grp however for an 18 year old vehicle this is to be expected. Great fun on the road and on the track,and a brilliant specification and condition Westfield for your money . As you can see from above, both the engine and gearbox have been rebuilt and a new clutch recently fitted, therefore these major components should keep the new keeper going for some time without major expenditure (many detailed photos available showing internal components during gearbox rebuild/clutch replacement) Reluctantly selling as I now require a more “practical” car with a roof and luggage space for my planned European road trip. Also Included with the sale is a number of spare parts if required including original mirrors, two spare wishbones etc. Depending on your offer I may also throw in a CTEK battery conditioner, used Halfords Advanced all weather breathable car cover and the remainder of my WSSC subscription (if you don’t already have a subscription) which I have just renewed!
