For sale my fantastic BGR Westfeild. Built in 2000 and correctly registered on a Q plate as a 'Westfeild' on the V5. The car was originally built with a Ford 1600 crossflow engine but this was replaced with a 2.0L Zetec Twincam blacktop. At the same time the fuel and ignition systems were also replaced Full Spec: 2.0L Blacktop Zetec Twin 45 DCOE Webers with K&N high flow filters Alpha Weber K97017 P1 ignition system - fully programmable Mocal oil cooler Mocal remote oil filter conversion Raceline sump Raceline water manifold Four branch exhaust manifold into single side exhaust. High delivery electric fuel pump Type 9 gearbox with gear leave extension Independent rear suspension with Westfeild LSD Fully adjustable dampers 15'' Fox racing rims with correct Westfeild center caps inc Spare Excellent Yokohama 609 R15 tyres (spare never fitted) Brembo front calipers with cross drilled discs Interior Wesfeild lightweight seat pads Willans harness Momo removable staring wheel Momo quick shift gear leaver Interior heater with two stage fan (fantastic in Spring & Autumn) Carbon dash with race logic dials Push button engine start The car has the longer clam shell wings but they are bolt on and so a conversion to cycle wings is an easy one, having said that I suggest that the new owner runs it with these longer wings at first as they afford much more protection from stones on the back lanes! The car is British racing green and always draws lots of attention. Being a Q plate there is no emissions checks to worry about at MOT time. had intended to take the car to Bogg bros in Malton to have the carbs set up and also get some power figures but i have been too busy driving it to make the time! I have no idea what the power output is but i can assure you you wont want any more for road use, and i think there is potential with this engine if you want for track days - this car despite its retro looks is mega loud and fast but when driven sedately is just as much fun. This car goes, turns and stops like nothing I have ever driven before. I am based just south of York and I would strongly recommend viewing the car before you bid, and I will happily take you out if its dry. I can arrange delivery anywhere in the north by trailer price TBC. Just MOTed for the summer, oil and filter changed and drive train fluids checked.
