    Post-build clearout

Time to move on some surplus items I've accumulated during the build. Postage to be added "at cost" but buyers are welcome to collect instead. More to follow... Carbon effect 205 cycle wings £100 SOLD One pair, unused, supplied new by WSC Feb 2021. Complete with stainless screws/nuts/washers fitting kit. FW & Sport Turbo carbon effect stone guards £65 SOLD One pair, unused and still in wrapping, supplied new by WSC Feb 2021. Does NOT include the fitting kit (rivets and piping). Wiper rack tube set £15 Unused, supplied new by WSC Feb 2021. Presumably for wide body only? Locking tethered fuel cap £50 SOLD Supplied new by WSC Feb 2021. Used briefly during the build but I had to replace it with one which has a slightly shorter fuel pipe spigot. Complete with cork gasket, keys and fasteners but without the clamp ring that goes under the body panel.

    Front cycle wings

Having sold a pair of GBS Zero wings only a couple of months ago I now urgently need a cheap set of front cycle wings! To fit 2005 SEiW, 15" wheels 195 tyres, so ideally the 15" x 205 version. Doesn't have to be Westfield brand/design. Any colour, any condition (used, scratched, gel coat star cracks, drilled, chipped, etc) as long as serviceable or requiring simple GRP repairs. With all the upgrades going on out there someone must have something?! Nothing apparently on eBay at the moment.
  3. Re-advertised. Buy one, get one free! Only £78.00 for the pair. Sensible offers considered. Postage extra. Pair black GRP front 'sports' cycle wings in excellent condition bought about 3 1/2 years ago from GBS for a project which didn't happen. Good quality, as new, unused and in original packaging. The style/design benefits the use of a wing mounted LED indicator repeater or sidelight. Will accept tyre width up to 205. For some reason they just didn't sell! Offered to members for a limited time before going public. Please note these will be withdrawn and advertised elsewhere if there is no interest from WSCC members. Please pm. Many thanks, Gareth

    Big head Bonded Fasteners

Hi I'm after a set of 8 big head fasteners to fit my new cycle wings. I'm after the cable tie version Cheers
  6. I was racing at Snetterton 2 weeks ago, it was 30 degrees in the first race so after the race I was dam hot. Couldn't wait to take my helmet off after park ferme. Drove through the paddock and something flicked in my eye. It really hurt, after a hour the pain was unbearable so I trotted off to the medical centre, but halfway there, the pain went and I assumed the foreign object. The soreness reduced and I completed the second race. Fast forward to last night just sat doing not a lot, and ouch, the same sting, horrible pain, and eyes watering, tried to sleep unsuccessfully. Off to the docs and onward to hospital, all of which I must say we're superb. The eye specialist found a rust string in my eye, the original debris had been metal, yes it had come out but contaminated the scar with rust! This had moved last night and hence the pain. Heaven forbid it happened during my race yesterday! Anyway local anaesthetic, a shiny needle and all cleaned up So to the moral of this story...never ever drive a cycle winged aero screen car without eye protection, even for a quick trip round the block! This was no more than 5mph. Common sense for sure but please be aware.
