Much desired and successful Westfield sprint car
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison posted a topic in Westfields for Sale
It is with a heavy heart but the time has come for my highly successful and much loved Westfield to go to a new home due to my moving onto single seaters. I have had the car for 20 years and it has been developed and improved in every aspect. During my ownership I have won the Westfield Speed Series outright (and come 2nd overall 5 times), won the British Sprint Junior challenge, had uncountable class wins and set numerous class records in both road going and modified classes at numerous countrywide circuits. No expense has been spared during my ownership in keeping it in tip top condition and specification and is ready to turn up and win in its new owners hands. The asking price no way reflects the amount of time, effort and money that I have lavished on it over the years. Road registered (but currently SORN) and complete with MSA competition car passport Specification below:- Chassis Strengthened and uprated 1989 narrow body SE chassis by Procomp Full Caged roll cage Wide track rose jointed front suspension with aluminium hubs Quantum double adjustable dampers correctly valved for car 2.2 quick steering rack HiSpec 4 pot calipers and lightweight discs Aluminium rear calipers and lightweight discs Bias floor mounted pedal box pedal box Engine Dry sumped Puma 1700 engine built and maintained by Protune running on Jenvey TBs and Emerald K6 ECU producing circa 220bhp / 150 ft/lb torque and revving freely and safely to near 9000rpm Ultralight steel flywheel with 7.25" Quarter Master clutch. Lovely looking sports car in Ninja Grey, combining cheap running costs with a great driving experience. This car has 12m MoT and has just been serviced. It has all the options, being the GT spec, and has been garaged and well looked after with Full Dealer Servicing, 87000 miles, mostly motorway cruising and no accident damage. 3 owners. Manual. They are surprisingly practical with the large boot and folding rear seats. (You can even fit a tow bar !!) This one also benefits from front and rear parking sensors, Cruise Control, Bluetooth Phone Integration, Heated Electric Leather Seats with Memory, Dual Climate Control Air Conditioning, Automatic Lights / Wipers / Mirrors.. The Heated Wing Mirrors fold away after you've parked.. Plus all the usual gadgets and safety equipment. The RCZ looks set to become a future classic so this represents a great depreciation resistant purchase. All in full working order with recent tyres and clean throughout. Comes with a folder of paperwork and two keys. Happy to answer questions, have car inspections and to consider offers.

Car Data sheets are available for download here. It is a Word 97 / 2003 document which can be opened in just about any text editor. Please try and keep to the layout and style. The bullet points are in a table to preserve standard layout, you should overwrite each bullet with your own spec adding or removing as you see fit. If it all goes to dangler, eMail me and I'll try to help. There will be an opportunity to create, print and laminate this on the day should you need to but I suggest you create your own if you can. PS: Volunteer show helpers urgently needed! Please click here and sign up today!

Hi all, New to the forum and have been soaking up as much information as I can while I look to purchase my first Westfield. I have found what I think would be a good starter at Hallmark Cars, does anybody happen to know this car or have any information about it? Has anybody bought from here before? http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/westfield/all-models/westfield-sei-wide-body/1407008 (Apologies if direct links are not allowed) Its a 1.7 crossflow with Weber 45s, 4 into 1 exhaust, spax adjustables, what looks like an RAC roll bar and a few more bits. I am going to the view the car tomorrow so does anybody have any pointers on what to specifically look for? Would this be a good first car to learn all things Westfield with? Thanks for the help. Regards, Adam
