Hi Guys and Girls, Long time lurker, first time poster... I am looking to purchase a car as soon as the right one comes available. Friend of mine is on here & recommend I post to see what might be around. Spec I am looking for is as follows, hoping that there might be some based in the south somewhere? Every car I have liked is in Manchester or Scotland. I live near Reading. Engine: 2.0 Blacktop or similar (circa 200HP ideally) or Hayabusa style Bike engine (I want a decent amount of torque so 1ltr bike engines are a no). Diff: Must have a LSD. Cage: Nice to be fully caged but not the end of the world if not V8 Bonnet is a must unless its the new shape body. Windshield would be nice, but I can work around that if needed. Seats and belts: Not too bothered as long as they are suitable for both. Need at least 4 point harnesses please. Nice to have a Digi dash too, but not imperative. I'm looking for a well sorted car, good condition and suitable for both road and track use (70/30 split in that order). I've got a max budget of £14k. Thanks in advance everyone

Now that I've fitted a full cage, I have for sale my old Caged Half Cage Roll bar. It's in pretty good condition as you might expect for a road and occasional track day car; it has never been used to its full potential thank heavens It has none adjustable mounts at the end of the stays and four bolt holes on the mounting plate - it fitted perfectly on mine and the full cage pretty much dropped straight in so I guess a straight swap for existing roll bars, including hoops as I suspect the mounting plate holes are already there even if they are not exposed. I've mounted a high-level brake light; this has been drilled for two self tappers and the wiring; the light comes with. I'm unclear on how this would affect things if you wanted this for a competition car so you should check first. It's cleaned up nicely, the rough bits you see are hidden under the rear and are the result of the usual rubbing from the tub and/or boot box. Sold as seen, collection preferred from North London/Herts but happy to meet half way if not too far. I'm sure I could bubble wrap it to within an inch of it's life and ship it, if so all costs and transport risks to met by purchaser. How does £200.00 sound...?

Westfield Release Half Hoof for Full roll caged vehicles

Good morning all, We are pleased to announce our brand new product. Half Hood for Westfield FIA roll caged cars The part will fit windscreen and aeroscreen Westfield wide body cars. http://parts-shop.westfield-sportscars.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=792&search=half+hood The half hood attaches to the car with Velcro around the roll cage tubes and there is securing straps at the rear of the vehicle. We are expecting the first production run in the next 10 days and are taking pre orders for this item now. Regards Russ
