  1. Hi all I'm beginning my journey to spec my kit and I'm debating the Classic vs. FW body styles. I originally thought I would go for the Classic style (having owned a pre-lit 7SE many moons ago), but following a factory visit yesterday, I'm beginning to favour the FW. One thing I did find out was that the Classic bonnet and nose cone can be combined with the FW rear end if specified at the ordering stage, which is giving me another option to consider... Has anyone got this combination and, if so, can they please share some photos of the end result? Many thanks! Steve

    ZK Locking Boot Lid

I am hoping someone has a ZK Locking Boot Lid kit hanging about that they have decided not to install, or have removed to save weight. I will happily pay the usurious shipping cost to Canada. I just can't afford the price at the parts shop! I am working on fabricating the components out of wood in order to make a GRP mold, but a Westfield one, at a reasonable price, would be a huge time saver!

    Body shell Q

Ok, so moving forward with my body shell, and have the rear tub slotted into place, as I figured it was a good idea to get an idea of how things fit together etc. Found I had to bend the standard rear spare wheel carrier brackets out of the way with a big screwdriver and a hammer, may take advice I have had to cut them off later,as this is just a dry fit. Thanks I then pulled out the RH side as I want to get the position of the scuttle sorted out, and this seemed the easiest way as from what I can see the rear tub is the datum on the back panel on the rear of the seating compartment. RH side seems an easy fit, apart from it's fouling on the seat-belt (I assume that's what they are for) bolt studs on the back of the chassis. There is a bit of a cut-out pre-formed on the panel which looks like its a bit short, and just needs lengthening? Can anybody tell me if I've got this right, before I commit to making red dust?
  4. I was going to use this FW body kit to repair my Westfield after an accident but fixing the original was a better option for me. So I'm selling this complete body kit which is now surplus to requirement. Originally it was taken from a factory test car a few years ago and just left in storage. All the parts appear to be present - please look at the pictures to check this. Note that the boot box may be the wrong type and there are no front wings. The condition of the panels is sound but the surface finish is scratched with some minor damage but nothing too serious however you should assume a paint job will be needed. Please come and have a look - contact me for a viewing appointment. Location near M1 J21. I want to sell these parts together as one item. Price: £800 for everything.
  5. For sale S/H body tub as removed from my car, due to some minor damage. Red - ZK Wide Body - Removeable rear arches. Damage:- 1. Has exhaust burn to NS front - following over zealous rolling road session ! 2. Accident damage to rear bodywork - cracked fibreglass round rear foglight area. Not severe & you can hardly notice unless you look for it. Ideal for a race car or if someone wants to spend the time to fix it up. £100 Buyer collects. No comments about my conservatory please
