The time has finally come to move on so my Sprint car is now for sale. Though fully road going this car has been used exclusively for sprints and hill climbs over the past Ten years, but has only been used twice this season. 1994 Westfield SEiW colour Westfield Racing Green body running on 13” Team Dynamics shod with Avon ZZRs. Chassis has some of the Westfield Factory race chassis bracing and is fitted with a Caged FIA roll cage. Dampers are AVOs and ARBs are PlaysKool. Fitted with Super 7 race seats, quick release steering wheel and much more. Engine is a high spec Toyota 4 A-GE built by Nigel Keats at Cougar Engineering · Modified Cylinder Head (original headwork by Gary Goodyear a 4 A-GE specialist ) · Kent Cams · Wisco Forged Pistons · Steel rods · Pace Dry Sump system · Jenvey throttle bodies · Omex 500 ECU. Rolling road set up was by Northampton MS output was 191bhp at 8200 however, the Omex sequential shift light is set conservatively at around 7800. Engine was built in 2011, the bottom end was checked and refreshed two events ago. Type 9 Gearbox with Quaife straight cut Clubmans gear kit, full overhauled by Steve Perks at SPC two events ago. Sierra Diff fitted with 4.4:1 Crownwheel and ZF LSD also built by Steve Perks. The car is fitted with a small (3 gall) fuel tank and aerosceen, the standard tank (no sump), windscreen, wipers etc come with the car along with a host of documentation and some manuals. The car has had a few bumps scrapes in the time I’ve had it so it’s no trailer queen nor is it all carbon and alloy, what money I’ve had available has been spent on worthwhile performance enhancing upgrades. The car has given me a lot of fun and I’ve taken a few class positions in the Speed Series and a few class wins on the day, with a better/younger driver it could be a serious contender in the Speed Series or an awesome track day/road car.
