They're all uploaded now, the official WSCC Parade Laps photos! Once again, thanks all for making this another great event: Three laps this year, thanks to Sarah and her teams superb organisation: You can visit the gallery here from where you can view and download the individual images. Ty Croes Parade Lap 2014! 7th September

Lancashire & Cheshire Car Club and MG Car Club NW warmly invite you to the WSCC MEMBERS VISIT and PARADE LAP Weekend 6 & 7 September Parade: 7 September 2014 FREE ENTRANCE TICKETS This was a fantastic event last year, and a great opportunity to enjoy a couple of laps round the Ty Croes circuit, behind the Pace Car. Entry to the event is free, as is over night camping. You WILL require tickets in advance though, (from me), or you will be charged on the gate. The sprint takes place both Saturday and Sunday, the 6th and 7th of September. With the parade lap, held, just like last year over the Sunday lunchtime break, Again just like last year, its open to anyone with a full UK drivers license, (which you must bring to signing on), with the exception of drivers competing in the Sprint. (Sorry folks, that's an MSA requirement, outside our control). Please see the attached invitation for full details. 2014 WSCC Visit & Parade Invitation.pdf We had a fantastic time last year, and were made most welcome! And what a great selection of cars we had! As you can see, we had a wide selection of cars too, including many well known Speed Series vehicles! Ty Croes is a really picturesque circuit, (for those that don't know), located on the SW side of Anglesey, so it's a great run through some brilliant Welsh touring roads to get there. Please let me know by midnight on the 31st August whether you can take part, so that I have time to send you your ticket. Edited to add, we now have the final instructions for signing on etc - please see "Parade Visit Details", below. 2015 Parade Visit Details.pdf
  3. Morning folks! Just a quick note for anyone taking part in the Sprint at Ty Croes on Sunday, who is planning on having someone else drive their car for the parade lap. Obviously, you'll be fine for entry to the event already, but I do still need the name of the driver please for the parade lap. If you could let me know on the other thread, (and that no ticket is required), that would be marvellous. Don't forget, the guest driver will need to sign on etc. Ty Croes invitation thread, here! Thanks Dave

Ty Croes Sprint Parade Lap; FINAL CALL!

Those of you enjoying the Speed Series, or sprinting with other series will no doubt be familiar with the Ty Croes event. For those that aren't, the Lancashire & Cheshire Car Club and MG Car Club North West have been organising sprints at the fantastic Anglesey circuit for over eighteen years. The events have always been hugely popular, with a tremendous atmosphere and often heavily over subscribed - club folk lore is full of stories of us turning up at Sarah and Martins house the morning the entry forms & regs landed on our door steps. The WSCC has been a big supporter of this event. In recognition of this, Sarah and Martin, (the event secretaries), have extended a personal invite to the rest of the WSCC, we are all welcome! The plan is, to have the WSCC gathering on the Sunday, and during the lunch time interval between timed runs, we will have two parade laps around the circuit with a photo taken of as many Westfield’s on track as we can get. This is potentially an excellent publicity opportunity for the club. (As well as a cracking day out spectating and having our piccie taken). OK folks, here we go, the parade lap is next weekend, (Sunday 1st September). Here's the current list of people that have their names down so far, plenty of room for more! (*Note, I've only included the Speed Series drivers that have confirmed they've got someone to drive their car).
