    O/T Engine replacement

    Nick PC posted a topic in Stuff & Nonsense

    Well see a lot on here about people changing engines on Westies, well trash the engine on a 325d BMW and the engine change is more than the cost of a reasonable car that brings smiles. Collected mine today after it went for a swim in November to find the insurers have had to pay £12000 for a new engine and turbo. The engine was £7500 and the turbo £1500. Should have asked if they would buy me a Duratec or two.
