I didn't want to post before the Warwickshire Trip had taken place, so as not to confuse matters! A few members that couldn't make it to the Wellesbourne museum asked if there was any chance of visiting the Woodford Vulcan, instead, so here we are!!
As ever, numbers are limited and I need to confirm with them as soon as possible. So please let me know if you'd like to come.
They open at 10am, which is when I suggest we meet. Our slot is from 10.30am.
"The Avro Heritage Museum warmly welcomes visiting car clubs during the summer season.
As part of the visit, car club members get the opportunity to take a group photograph of the vehicles alongside our Vulcan bomber, the only white example of its type in the world.
Car club members are charged standard admission prices (£9) plus an additional £3 per vehicle for the Vulcan photoshoot experience. Cockpit tours can also be booked on the day (subject to availability).
There is a cafe on site, too, plus experienced museum "floor-walkers" to answer questions etc.
How to get there.
